Child Care Nurse Consulting
VNS of Iowa provides child care health consulting services to local child care centers and child care home providers. Certified Child Care Nurse Consultants are available to help you assess the health and safety of your child care center and/or home. Occupational Health Services
VNS of Iowa offers a broad range of services to ensure a healthy work force for your company. VNS of Iowa can provide TB testing; immunization clinics for flu, pneumonia, and hepatitis; and health screening clinics to include blood pressure, glucose and complete cholesterol screening. Student Program
VNS of Iowa works closely with various colleges to offer clinical rotations and preceptorships for student nurses and medical residents. Students work closely with Registered Nurses learning how to provide public health services for pregnant women, parenting families, and senior adults. Venus Family Planning Services
Venus Family Planning Services offers family planning services including pregnancy testing; family planning education and counseling; breast and pelvic exams; screening for cervical cancer; and screening for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. Services are voluntary, confidential and available on a sliding fee scale. To receive family planning services, call 515-558-9609.
